All of our holidays are graded so that you can make sure you get the right holiday for you and the rest of your party.

Grade 1: About 20 miles per day or less. Very few hills. Suitable for families and novice cyclists. Generally the day's cycling is broken in to 3 segments allowing plenty of rest and sight-seeing.

Grade 2: About 25 miles per day. Possibly a few smaller hills. Again Suitable for families with active children.

Grade 3: Around 35 miles per day. May include some larger hills and undulating routes. Suitable for more experienced cyclists

Grade 4: Longer routes, often more than 50 miles per day. Challenging routes for experienced cyclists

We would recommend that children be at least 8 years old if they are going to ride a bike by themselves for the whole holiday. Under this age a tag-along or tow bar can be hired to make things easier. For under 4's we have child seats or the increasingly popular bike trailers.

If your group consists of cyclists of mixed abilities, we can suggest alternative routes with the same overnight destinations. We would recommend riding in at least pairs if you do wish to split up.

All of the accommodation we use has ensuite/private facilities so that you can freshen up and wash away the day's efforts in the comfort of your own private room.

Every rider will receive laminated maps and directions for the route, a small emergency repair kit and relevant contact numbers.

Bike and other equipment hire is not included but is available. You can hire adult and child bikes, helmets and other safety equipment, child trailers, tag-along bikes and child seats. Ask us for details.
